About us

Cicaesély – A Chance for Cats Our foundation was established in September 2021. Previously, we had been rescuing cats from the streets as civilians, but we felt it was time to continue our work as an organisation.

Our organisation has two main profiles, one is the TNR programme, which is a neutering programme for stray cats, and the other is cat rescue & adoption.We get all of our kitties neutered, tested, vaccinated, chipped and only give them away with a contract as indoor cats.

We are always available for owners of our previously adopted kittens if any life situation changes, we have a place for our rescues at all times.

We strive to set a good example and teach as many people as possible how to be a responsible cat owner. We support this learning process with a range of educational materials.

Cat rescue is a real love project for us. It’s a truly amazing feeling to see how much a kitten’s life can change in a month: they go from being scared, sickly little furballs, blinking in fear, to happy kittens rolling on their backs.

That’s our goal – to give them a chance at a happy life.

We manage the cat rescue from the first step to the last. We take the kittens in, give them medical care, take care of their little souls and then when they are ready, we find them a home where they will fit in. We keep in regular contact with the cat owners, and luckily we have a very good relationship with our adopters.
